Preserving Skulls

There is a post not far before this one entitled Preserving Skulls wherein a discussion was had regarding various techniques from simmering, to use of insects and enzymes. Like Shovelhead mentionned - do not use bleach at all. Bleaching is just the term used. If it is already meat free - the easiest thing to do is let it just sit in the sun. Probably a good idea to put it in a cage so mice cant chew on it or to keep larger critters from walking away with it. If there is still flesh remaining - see previous posts =)

I need help with a deer head

I just got a decent eight point. I don't have enough for a full blown mount. I do have the head and don't know what to do with it to make a skull mount. Could you send me some info on what to do. Thank you. Steve Weeks
