But how they'll turn out is surely questionable. How a GRINDER ever found it's way into the wannabe/wannahave tool kits is beyond my dumb comprehension anyway. Lips are SPLIT with a sharp edged knife or scalpel (my preference) They can be easily fleshed and shaved with the same tool.

oh my goodness!

Yikes...Yikes...and double YIKES!

Kind of like using a router to make a lip slot or sand blasting a form to rough it up! If that's the case check out old Norm and his New Yankee Workshop... he's got tons of power tools , ooops I mean taxidermy tools!

Chainsaw skinning and weed-eater fleshing, palm sander on the facial details, now that's the way to go!

Hey I just tried sand blasting three deer forms

Worked like a dream, did three in 15 minutes and removed the forms skin perfectly, nothing but a million little tiny holes for the hide adhesive to fill in and hold to.

I have used...

a dremel tool with a small sandpaper drum to thin out the lip skin but not for splitting it. Perhaps that's what you may be refering to.
