deer tail

Tail puller

Use a tail stripper from a taxidermy or trapping supply company. You can also use 2 round dowles or 16 p nails placed on each side of the tail bone. grip them together with your hand and pull . Randall

Deer tail

dp, Like Randall said but he means to hold the dowels on each side of the tail bones and pull the tail bones through the sticks with pliers or something. The sticks hold the tail skin while the bones are pulled out. The tail stripper is real handy if you plan to pull many tails. Enjoy, Aaron H.
