I'm a doing my first taxidermy mount on a deer i shot with my bow. Ive gotten to the point where im ready to glue on my hide, but since i have been doing this project at my shcool, it has now been so long that my hide is drying out and getting mold and EVEN SHRINKING especially! So now im having so much trouble getting the hide fitted to the mount and the face to the mount also. Please if you have any solutions contact me by email. Thank You

Brad, it sounds like you have left you're hide out for days and it is airdrying. If you have tanned the hide ,you can rehydrate you're cape in 5gallons of cold water with a handful of salt added so you're cape does'nt overswell. If you are unable to mount right away you can freeze you're hide,or just let the hide continue to airdry and rehydrate at a later date and mount it. Hope this helps.
