I am getting ready to do a mount that uses the tom powell nose. I have the nose all ready to go, mounted, painted, etc but would like to know exactly how to tuck the skin. I know that in the rear 1/4 or so of the mouth the skin will tuck normal but do I cut at the hairline for the rest and glue it. I have directions but don't really understand. I think the only forward part of the lip you keep is the front and tuck that behind the teeth. Also where does the skin stop and the nose begin (top lip) Thank you. I appreciate all your help on this. I have been mounting deer for about 10 years and doing some competing but this is my first open mouth comp. mount.

come with the mouth piece you are using. look at them and they will tell you how to cut your skin prior to mounting. I assume you are using the flemming nose and lower jaw set.
Brad, I stated in my posting that I did not understand the instructions. I made a phone call and got the help I was looking for. Thanks anyway.
