i just got in some wet tans that when i received green had no measurements so i waited til i got them tanned before i measured them. they seem alittle drier than i have got in the past although they are wet tans and cant quiet get them to stretch to get a good measurement. i know these were off at least 19 - 20 inch(5 1/2 year old)deer right behind the ears but i cant get them to stretch to about 17 -18 inches.
my question is can i get alittle more stretch out of them if i rehydrate them for about 15 to 20 minutes in slightly warm water then tumble them alittle and then stretch again? thanks tim

Tim, I would dampen the capes and sweat in a bag over night in the frig. Should do no harm. I would not soak them. -Enjoy, Aaron H.
