I will blame this one on my wife.

Uh oh. I just took my hide out of the pickling solution, when my wife decided she wanted to talk to me. Anyway, after we had our discussion, i went ahead and put liqua tan on the (deer) hide and rolled it up. It is now about an hour later and I remembered I forgot to neutralize the solution before the liqua tan (Only rinsed in water). Now what. Am I doomed. Should I just go ahead and kill myself?

All is not lost.

Not a problem.Follow these steps and your deer hide should be just fine. 1.) Hang hide over night to dry.
2.) Rehydrate & neuralize as you normally do with the addition
of Dawn detergent. I would also agitate the hide somewhat.
This step should only take approx. 30min. or so.
3.) Spin, towel or tumble,to get rid of excess moisture.
Your hide should now be good to go.

Good Luck.

Done what you said. Nothing unusual mounting. Looks good. Let you know when it dries.
Thanks
