how are you suppose to tuck the eyes? like leave a little space between the eye and the clay? i havent been tucking the eyes and they never move or shrink out of place. should i start tucking?

Read an article in Breakthrough awhile back. The guy mounting the deer in the article is a Nationally-known judge, sculptor, etc. He doesn't tuck the eyelids. After reading that, I quit tucking them and have had no problems. But, am sure there are many who will say they would only tuck them...
Jared, If you tuck eyes, you clay the same way and just slide the eyelid skin along the surface of the eye and it will force the clay away a bit as you tuck the skin. Then just press the clay back into smooth position from the outside. Like other things, there's more than one way and if you are happy with your results now you may not want to change.
