I know Im opening this up for a LOT of opinions, but what are the preferences on Hide Paste (mostly deer, small animals)? AND, what type of paste is best for skin-on fish mounts? Thanks.

Epo-Grip two part for medium gameheads, the brisket of elk and head areas.
Small game, heads I use WASCO water base, its smooth and slides the skin easily.
I also use the WASCO water based for fish, as I can dry the fish overnight with it. It works very well on all skin mount fish.
Of late I have been using silconized acrylic caulk on all birds, this is the $1.00 to $1.49 stuff. in the wings of waterfowl and the neck area.
Gets used by many here. Good stuff but use ventilation.
Elmers glue and cabosil as a thickner.
