Muzzle hole

Submitted by Joe T on 10/27/2003. ( Joseph_turc@yahoo.com ) 64.12.96.202

While thinning the face on a Whitetail I cut a small "L" shaped hole in the top of the muzzle, about half way up between the nose and the eye.

How can I fix this hole to make it as invisable as possible, invisable thread, dryer sheet like an ear? When I put the sides of the hole together to close it I can see a small black line folowing the "L" cut. Thanks for any sugestions!

I never trust drier sheets!

Just use a small household type sewing needle and high quality gray quilting thread, roll the stiches to the inside, once mounted gently tap the cut area, tap it again the next day..

A cut is a cut no moter where it is.
