whitetail lifesize mount....Dorsal cut?

i want to do my first full body mount whitetail. can i use a dorsal cut to skin the deer. also would i have to cut down the back of the legs. i figured i could mount it just like i would a bobcat but im not too sure. any more suggestions would be great. thanks

A dorsal cut is the way to go, unless the deer is going to be lying on his stomach or on his side, then you should make the cut on the part of the body that will not be seen and yes you will need to make a relief cut on the legs......Sean K.
