Return to Deer Taxidermy Category Menu
the nictating membrane is a clear eye lid, kinda. It is located in the corner of the eye right by the kruncle.
Go to the reference pictures at the top of the page and find the whitetail deer pictures. Look in the front corner of the eye. the membrane is slanted at about a 30 degree angle with a kinda blackish outline and mixed burnt umber center. Using names and e-mail addresses can also lead to sometimes helpfull advise to. Hope this helps. Jeff F.
