That's all you ahve to do. I just make a new nose by using the apoxie sculpt laying it flat and then build up all the nodules with the modge podge and paint it from there. Not hard to do at all, use reference for this.

Get a Dan-D-Noser from McKenzie. Put epoxy Sculpt on where the nose pad was and roll it over. Works great for commercial deer, saves alot of time.

I heard of this from on of the pros. Lay a thin layer of clay on the nose of the form and keep the clay wet while mounting. Once mounted take an eyes glass size flat head screw driver and lightly press down the lines between the bumps. This will help to have more texture when you start to finsih.

And Willie? DON'T use the Dandy Noser unless you want your deer nose to look completely unnatural and ridiculous.

Also, check your shop for bugs, they like nose pads.

i found the problem.it wasn't rats but a squirrel instead.i set a little live trap and put a piece of deer hide in it last night and i now have a very doomed limb rat.

Commercial deer noses look fine. Time is money. Don't spend all of your time working on a nose that will not pay off. Besides, if the nose pad was chewed off, mod podge wont fix it anyway, it's just a fancier name for Elmers glue!

Your right time is money but if you can't get paid what your worth then your work shows it. I'm one or probably the highest guy here.I have no problems getting what I want.
The dan d is a kimic for those who have no idea on what their doing.
