Deer has abnormal head measurements

This deer has an abnormal head size. What is the best solution to make a manakin fit a hide that has a normal nose length, normal neck, but small size when measured around the eye orbit and jaws? My hide fits the manakin measuremnts except for this area, in which the hide is probably an inch smaller. Can the eye and jaw area be trimmed without losing to much of the form of the face or will there be enough stretch to fit.

Mike,
cut the head off the form right below the jaw. Then cut the head right down the middle from the nose to the back of the head. Spread out to desired width. Add some spacers or something to hold the head in the position. Fill the area left open with foam and after the foam sets sand to desired shape. Bondo head back on form and youre ready. Hope this helps.
