I would like to know about upcoming Taxidermy shows and events close to my hometown. I would like to attend one, not only to meet some of the people behing the names, but to also listen in on some of the siminars. I just think it would be a great learning experience. After nine years of taxidermy my gameheads look great, but I think its time to take it to that next level. Theirs always room for improvement.
Thanks,
Bojack

Can you enter a competition in another state? If I am from Texas can I enter Louisiana state competition?
I believe all you need to do is become a member of that state's taxidermy association and pay the competition fees and your in!
you can enter other states by paying only the SHoe registration fees and your comp. enteries fees.
Although some states may require you to join their assoc.
Check with each state to see what they want.
As an officer in the Oklahoma Taxidermists Association, I would like to welcome you to attend our convention in Tulsa, OK. The show will be June 24 -26, 2004. For more information, go to the OKTA website. www.geocities.com/kennethbauman/OKTA.html. If you are a member of Arkansas, you are welcome to attend without paying OKTA dues. We have several members, who are also Arkansas members also. Good Luck, you will enjoy taxidermy conventions.
