Can someone tell me how much of the cartilage to take out of the nose.. I know to split it but am not sure how much to leave for the nostrils so the form does not show.. I am also confused about the ears. Does all of the cartilage need to come out or can you turn th ear and then just glue an ear liner in? Thanks Stacey

These are really kind of hard to explain. You really need to see These steps either by pictures in instruction manuels or videos or a whole lot of trial and error. With so many of these resources avalible you can't go wrong. good luck.

I know what your thinking your going to do It the good
old fashioned way eh?
Las, I lost something in the interpretation I guess. Stacey, it all needs to come out. Once you cut away the septum area, you have to get all the "wings" out from underneath the skin. Several suppliers sell competition replacement noses. Buy one for reference and remember that you're only going to be able to glue skin to a mannikin. Carve your nose out like the replacement nose and you'll see that the skin and skin only is what will need to be glued into place.
First Of: Las What the he! are you talking about?
You need to get all the cartilage out of the nose, skin down the outside, then up into the nostrals about 1/2 inch. Take your time the inner nose skin is very very thin. Practice will teach you your own method.
