how do I clean my old deer head?

HI1 I have a old deer head that is turning brown in the white spots. How do I clean it? Thanks

I just finished cleaning a customers piece that he started. If you dont have a clue where to start or know how to fix when it goes wrong,you need to really consider taking it to a pro. Good luck. Oh and one more thing look and ask for references, it will save you a headache.

Research Mannikins and I suspect other supply houses have cleaning kits for old mounts. I have never used them before, but I'd try it if I needed to. You might try a damp sponge, not wet, with a mild soap solution. You wouldn't want to wet the hide of an older mount, fear the acid might react and come apart. On a newer commercial mount, I wouldn't hesitate to wet it however.
