Use some plastic molding material and put some on a basketball, after it sets pull off and wrap around a piece of dowel rod and fix a handle on it. The dimples on a basketball are pretty close to the deers nose. Or, just make a cast of a deers nose if you have one available.
Go to the "Wanted" category and just ask for one. I'm sure there are dozens of people out there who'd GIVE you theirs. No one likes deer noses that look like raspberries.
