This is a mount I am working on that was mounted using the McKenzie 64D.My question is,does anyone prefer to put the muscle in the neck like I do or not? I have had people that like it and others say why is it like that? Just wondering.By the way, this is a high 150 class 8 point.

it seems that you over do it on the muscles on the neck and they need to flow better , other than that , looks good IMO.
First off, unless you get a up close ,look from different angles you never can judge a mount from "most" pictures unless "IT'S THAT BAD" Who's kidding who..It looks good ,from what I see..YOUR CAPES ARE GREAT..Earl
I think they look great. The muscles on the neck are somthing ya don't see alot.i kind of like them overinvasized like that. The muscles close to the neck make it kind of look like its the extra skin from him turning the neck and the one up by his head makes him look like just an over all bad a$$ buck.I really like them.Chase
I have done a couple like this one and have alot of comments but always ask the customer if they want it or not.Maybe not real natural but something different to get their attention. After I go in and give it a final brush job it will be less evident.
Dont make the mistake of runnung your fingers in the muscle grove over and over as the hairs will eventually fold as well and thats not a nice look at all. I have been guilty of this myself and had it pointed out to me. Take care, B.Bishop
