I like the Eppley Tru-Eyes as their shape gives you more versitility with rotation and the veining is great. However, they don't seem to have the "shine" that glass eyes have. Is there anything I can apply to them or do to make them glossier?

These eyes have a shine like a real eye does. May I suggest cleaning them differently? I dont scratch them while mounting, and I clean them with alcohol. They are as soft and warm as any liquid once mounted.

To answer the question the way you posted it, theres nothing that Im aware of that will coat the surface. The surface porosity is too tight, anything you apply will bead up or dull the surface. They are coated with optics glass.
