This is probably a crazy question but here goes. I have had some experience mounting a couple of deer heads. This guy wanted me to tan a deer hide. When he brings it, it still has all four legs attached. Does anyone have any suggestions about this, or even if there is a way to tan a hide this way. He is just wanting to lay it like a rug or make a wall hanging. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mount like any other rug. strech, trim add felt or your preference. the only problem I can see is the hoofs laying flat. Might need to carve some foam to take the place of the bone and taper up to the hoof a 3 or 4 inches.
Are you sure that he wants the legs still attatched? Or do you think that possibly he just did'nt know how much hide to cut from the legs. I would probably call him and ask just to make sure.
