I was just wondering if, after I salted a deer hide and rehydratered
in salt water, can I freeze the hide or do I have to flesh, tan, and mount the deer. Is there any one that can help me Im kinda in a pinch I already put this cape in the salt water and it is ready to be fleshed.
Thanks

Why would you salt and dry a hide that has not been fleshed, and turned?
Now Understanding that salt water will freeze. However Depending on the specific Gravity of the solution. It may take temperatures far lower than the capabilities of a normal freezer. The hide can be re frozen if you dilute the salt content by soaking in clean water and rinsing well.
For future reference the typical procedure is, to turn, flesh, salt, rehydrate, pickle, thin, neutralize, tan, and then freeze, or Mount.
