I have a doe to mount for a customer. The doe has a 6 1/2" eye to nose with a 15" neck at the ears. Im having trouble finding a form to fit this size. On most when you hit the 15" range on a doe the eye to nose they offer is 7" or better. What to do? Could I use a small buck form and cap the head or cut the muzzle off the bigger doe form and take out the excess and put it back together?
Thanks

But remember that bucks do not have the same facial structure as do does. You will lose that feminine look by using s buck form. To take out 1/2 inch, you will need to do so in two places to make it look right. This is difficult on the muzzle, I would order the larger form, and a change out head. It will cost you about $10.00 more But save you aggravation and produce a proper looking doe mount.
has an upright at 6 3/4 by 14 1/4 and a browsing at 6 1/4 by 14 1/2. Both are in the new catalog on p. 29. Might help! Jeff F.
has the forms in variouse sizes.
I ordered the McKenzie form today but i will have to cut the muzzle down. Also I do see a change out head on the McKenzie site for a doe.
Can you give me a link to something.
