Muscle tone

I think you will notice this on most of Joe's forms. It is probably a true "alive" measurement. Due to muscle tone of the live animal. Many mannikins are sculpted from measurements off of dead animals. In a dead animal, the tone is lost, making the lip line lengthen. I notice about a 3/8 to 1/2 difference between a live specimen and a dead specimen. Good Luck.
