This morning I have been spending time in the ole orange button area. I entered a search about myself. I now have an idea of where you were coming from.
Have come to the conclusion that you and I also have what the military refers to as a failure to communicate. You fully understand that can happen, don't you. They teach you that in the Air Force don't they? Failure to communicate between two fully grown stubborn old men, each with their own opinions, views, goals, pride, etc. How many problems has that caused in the world, The United States Army, The United States Air Force, much less on this web site.
I called a truce with you the other day.
Can fully understand why Bill, will not accept my apology.
Can understand why people think I need prozac, other drugs etc.
Feel it is time to call the truce of and clear up our misunderstandings.
I never saw your first post to me titled: Bruce you sure you were a Sergeant Major? I never replied back to you, right.
First point we need to clarify is this question. Do you still doubt I was a Sergeant Major?
The first time I communicated with you from my perspective, was after I thanked Bill for taking so much of his valuable time, his many contributions to this web site etc. for being a humble man, denying his expert status etc.
Second point to clarify:
Do you agree we merely had a failure to communicate.

You came in here asking for help, you will get help, but you are a private in the taxidermy world, no a combat soldier. You are in basic training and being recycled until you have enough knowledge to pull togather and learn what team work is.
Team work in Taxidermy is nothing more than doing your home work, then asking for some help when you dont under stand the proccedure.
I gladly keep those that help thierself. I will give you direction based on what I have learned over the years of my doing taxidermy. Here and even while stationed in Germany.

I'm sorry, I pissed you off John. I've asked you for advise and guidance and you have pleased me with your responses. It was based on your recommendations, that I tried Epo-Grip Two Part. I was under the assumption you used it on the ears of your deer. That would be a misunderstanding in the real world. When I was in the military we called it a failure to communicate.

I can understand your current feelings. I totally agree with you about that Bruce T. guy. I think I know who that guy is. It's becoming like a mystery. The name started with a G something. I haven't figured it out. I'm behind on my taxidermy projects and still can't pull myself away. I'm pretty sure what we have at this point is a misunderstanding, I'm an old military man myself. Served with that old G. guy. I do remember he was very strict. Man you sure didn't want to get on his bad side. Had an old buddy back at Fort Bliss, Texas that was just like him. That guy better heed your advice if it's the guy I'm thinking about. This is the second time I ever posted here. I've been kind of leery about steping into these debates. Seems once you step in it's kind of hard to get out. Man I bet that other Bruce is suffering right now. I do have a poodle already. He's my daughter's dog. I need to speak to George/Greg something or other. He's been doing taxidermy 47 years. There's another guy here name George also I don't really know him very well. I think he lives in Deleware. There's a lot of george's in the world. This guy killed a 7 point last year, I think. I was visiting taxidermy sites, I think he helped her mount it. He's no expert though. I think she may be.
