Whitetail Eye position

I am getting ready to mount a deer for a customer in the "grooming" pose. I cannot find any reference pictures or articles in my Breakthrough Magazines about the Eye and Pupil positioning in a mount like this. Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

Ron,

The eye should be set at a relaxed position, pupils are set at either level to the ground or slightly rotated in a downward position, basically focused upon that particular area. Remember to show the whites of the eyes and lay the ears back. Ed.
