is there a difference in the shape of glass eyes. i know some are $5.00 and some are $15.00 are you just buying the colors of the eye or is it the shape also(none of the prerotated.) im having trouble getting the eyes to look back at me on my mounts. i have gone ahead and cut about a 1/4 inch from the top and bottom lid on the manikin so that the eye can see forward and id have to say some look pretty good, but thats not what the sculpter was going for, surely im missing somthing. ive even left all the clay out of the tearduct area to experiment. no luck. any ideas.

thank you
jon

Shapes are different and so are the details.

They have different shapes, look in the Van Dykes catalog. I believe they still show the difference.

There are many shapes and styles to choose from depending on the look that you are after. The most anatomically correct eye is the 650 series or the 600 series with the nictitating membrane. Rick Carter uses the 250 IQ which is available in Forward look, and regular. You can find a wealth of photos of the eyes on the new website...I should know, because I helped to design it.
