Stretching a deer cape before mounting to get a little extra room. My question is, can I put a tire intertube in the cape and blow it up and get enough stretch out of it to help go on the form easier? Thx Eddie

Yes I do it all the time. Just make sure you don't overinflate it.
Do you have any common sence? Look to the left and click on

RON YOU ARE AN A**HOLE!
Yes but for only 2 or 3 days a week. Sometimes I forget to take my meds.
I just tried it on my last dry tan and it seemed to work well.I rehydrated the cape, put a couple stitches in my y incision and slowly inflated until I could tell I had something going on. I then put the cape in a sealed bag, and let it work it's magic overnight. Ron may not sugar coat but I typed intertube in the search and low and behold! Whalla. Good Luck- Jeff F.
The trick is to get a tube that is the right size. I use one that is for a lawn tractor size tire.
Actually Ronnie, I have 2 capes I did with Lutan F and the rest are in Krowtan, after I tried one Krowtan cape I switched for good. I shave thin but just dont get the stretch that I get with the Krowtan. intertubes are used for more than just flat tires-- Heres your sign... Just pokin at ya, no hard feelings. Eddie
