I was wondering how many of you have mounted on a pivot pedestal by Joe Coombs. I am interested in doing my next deer on this form. Just trying to see if I can get any tips from you guys and girls, maybe I can avoid some mistakes. I am especially interested in how you secure the form to the stand and how to finish the back off. Thanks in advance.

Todd, That form is designed to slip down onto a rod such as a piece of all threaded rod that you have imbeded into a stump or similar base. It is a relativly easy attatchment. As for the back, I use buckskin leather which I attach to the form with Epo-Grip adhessive. Some use felt. Enjoy, Aaron H.

I mounted one like that for the 1999 World Show

But it wasn't his form. It was actually a Research Mannikins form. I used one of those detachable deer antler sets you can also buy from them (and other suppliers). The deer can be turned to various angles. This was before those came out on the market (as far as I know, anyway)...hmmm, maybe I should have patented the idea?
