cleaning hairs on deer nose pad

I have been trying to figure out the best way to remove the overspray from the random hairs on a deer's nose pad once it is painted. Anyone have a good technique? I suppose I could just brush paint the pad, but I like being able to put the flesh color between the lower nodules with my airbrush. I looked in the archives under the same message title with no luck.

Thanks
Chris

I use an old wore out tooth brush..and just go over it lightly and it seems to break the paint from the hair and still lets it on the nose. Just make sure the paint on teh nose is good and dry. Works for me quite well.

I just use my fingers and pinch the pait off the hairs. I use tweezers to strip the overspray pait from the interior of the nostrels.

All you have to do is go over the hairs lighty with a Q-tip or a small paintbrush, just be careful not to get any on the pad. Then I get the tweesers and gently take the overspray off the hairs, without the vasoline on the hairs you stand a chance of plucking the hairs off.
