Robotics in a mount?

Has anyone thought about putting animation into a mount? Not for the DNR to use, but a quality mount for customer or comp.

What would some of you judges think if a deer in a competition moved it's eyes or ears, or maybe changes neck position?

I have thought about this and the methods for doing it. I have located the motion equipment and the controls for it.

What are some of your thoughts?

Yeah, go for it, i think the judges would like a little bit of originality.

I've seen a rattlesnake like you're talking about. It had a motion sensor inside the base and when anyone walked past it the tail would start rattlin', his tounge would stick out(altrnating with a hissing sound), and the eyes glowed red. I think when it was checked in, the judge who accepted it (for competition), turned -off the sensor and didn't tell the other judges about this "special" mount. When the "official" judging was started,it had been turned back on. It scared more than a few unsuspecting judges, as well as com-
petition 'attendees'. The judge that checked it in made sure it was positioned next to the main entrance door for the public viewing. NO ONE could miss that mount! -Susan
