i have been mounting two deer.i am happy with the nose,lips,ears,but i can not get my eyes to look like other taxidermist get theres to look.big and plump and thay look good.i have looked at the ref pics on micro-tan site by the way i am useing 26mm eyes on 165pd deer..should your eye take up the whole orbit on the mannikin? my eyes just look small.and just not right.thanks for comments.dave

Those eyes are to small for that size deer. Jack F
Use at least a 30mm eye for a deer with a 7" eye/nose measurement. I found under 7" you can use a 28mm. Ofcourse when you get into 7.5-8" eye/nose whitetails...you will probably have to use a 32mm
