did my first two deer over the weekend setting the eyes in apoxie - both turned out super - the first i set the eyes and let the apxoie firm up - the second i placed the cape on - put on antlers and modeled the eyes after sliding on the cape - i did the eyes with the apoxie still 'wet' - both came out fablous and they are dry today - on the set where the apoxie was set i used Epo-Grip under the eyelids- i have used both of the aforementioned (what a word) methods on coyotes but this is the first time on deer - I'M SOLD!

My last couple of deer eayes were set in Apoxie Sculpt. I will probably use Critter Clay for that and other applications at times (but probably not for eyes!).
They certainly stay were you put 'em!
