I asked for everyone to critique the deer that I did earlier this season and got some really useful tips. here's a pic of the last deer of the season...let me know if I've improved or what else I need to work on. Thanks !

overall its not bad. you have definately got the basics under control. you should keep an eye on some hair patterns though. your brisket and armpits are a little uneven. those are some minor things that are really easy to fix. when they are done right, no one will even notice they are there, but if they are out of whack, then they jump right out at you.

ear color looks good, shape as well.

eye shape looked okay, but its hard to tell with the colors involved.

you are definatley getting there

I think you need to start entering competitions. Photos are difficult to pick stuff out. You work overall is pleasing, so the only way to get an accurate critique will now be at a competition. Good luck to you.

Can't get a good view...

Bobbi,

Looks good overall, a few things I noticed quickly was the ear butt on the right side, looks cocked and to high, might be the picture though. Hair patterns along the lip line and at the corner of the mouth are slightly off, and the brisket hair patterns as mentioned above. Ear and eye detail looked pretty good.. Keep up the good work. Attend those state conventions, worth every second/dime spent..

Tom
