I use mostly McKenzie and buckeye forms;what to try research forms, but the eye angle 30 degrees 0 tilt gives a look that you have to get used to.so say other people in my area that have used this form.in there last flyer ,they had someone from my state telling how he liked ther forms .i called him up ,and what he dosnt say in the artical is that he tilts the eyes forward .any feed back from Research Mannikins will be welcome.

Mike I have used some of researchs forms and it seems to me that they are not very anatomically correct for northern whitetails. Very slender noses, long looking necks, I am not saying that they are bad forms just that they dont fit my taste. I live in northern ND & I have found the form that best suits our deer for me is the 6500 series from McKenzie, this form really matches our deer nicely.

i use McKenzie and joe coombs, try setting your eyes closer to fifty degrees, i think youll like the outcome better. i live in connecticut, dont seem to have any problems here.

Eye angles

I have to agree with Ryan... industry standard says 43-45 degree angle, 11 degree tilt, but I would set my eye angles closer to 50 degrees, 0 tilt. And don't use the "Pre-set eye socket" Drill it out. That way, you can still try a Research form without worrying about the 30 degree angle.

I like McKenzie forms, have used Coombs, but McKenzie seem to work better. If I were to use a Research, I would probably have a few alterations until I were satisfied with it, although I think that brisket-wise, and shoulder-wise, it is a good-looking form.
