I am having a dickens of a time getting a form to fit a whitetail cape I bought out of Canada. It's not a particularly large body, but the head seams to be quite beefy. I've tried Jonas, Van Dyke and Research and none of the forms fill out the head portion of the cape. I'd say there is an inch of slack total measured about 2 inches in front of the eye orbits. I lenghthen or shorten noses all the time. Can I cut the head vertically and glue in a half inch filler to fatten the head, like I do to lengthen a nose? Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot.

right down the middle and add 1/2 of what you need, the left to right and add the remainder.
Try a 6500 series from McKenzie I live in northern ND and have some problems w/ fitting that way, probably not as badly as you are explaining though.
You didn't say how big the deer was but I just mounted a big N. Iniana buck on a Hilton Eppley Jr. form and it fit well. His new site can be found at www.hiltoneppleyforms.com. He recently updated it. Some other forms that fit well with the larger deer are Joe Coombs, Ben Mears, and Noonkester. Might be something to add to your contacts, if you don't already have their catalogs. Good Luck! Jeff F.
Does anyone make a form for a buck that measures
