removing old hair from anlters

I would like to put velvet or something around my antlers to make them look nice, but the hair was not removed right away. does anyone know a good way to get this hair off easily?

If you take a little dremil tool you can grind it off right down to the bone. Make sure to do it outside though because it makes a mess.

If you would have a big enough pot to place the horns in and if you have a little stove or something to be able to boil water. Place the horns in some water and boil them. It works well cleaning the horns from the meat, blood, and dirt from the antlers. Try boiling them? Hope it works for you!


Water

Just set them in water. When they rehydrate you can pull it off with pliers. If parts are still dry I use my fish cheek scraper, but a knife will work to. If they are real dry it might take a few days, but they will rehydrate.
