I just received capes from tannery and on the shoulder a patch of hair was missing in two spots what can i do to remedy this?they are about 6inches long and 2 inches wide

Those are some awfully big spots. If I knew I handled the capes properly theres two things I'd do to remedy it. Replace the capes AND the tannery.Truth- Jeff F.
Hello. There is no reason you can't cut those spots out, oblong football shape ofcourse, and sew them up. It sounds scary, but you would be suprised how well you can cover them up. I always cut my holes when prepping my cape, and than mount my deer. Make sure you leave a nice comfortable fit on the form, not too snug when mounting. Than, when the head and ears are done, and your seam is sewn, sew up your holes. You will have saved yourself some money, without costing the customers any harm. The reason I don't sew the holes before I mount it is...when your mounting and stretching your cape on the form, the stitches will have a tendency to pull apart...and I use the best suture material available.
