i have recently finished a mule deer and while painting the inside of the ears i noticed some green fungus or mildew on the ear but.i scraped out what i could with a small wire brush and cleaned with laquer thinner then painted.(bonded ears )any suggestions on what this was or what i could have done differently? thanks daryn

Of glue did you use? Some of the dextrine based glues sometimes mold. That is what it sounds like to me.
If you made your own, add a little bacteriacide to it next time.
But either way, also look at the tan, the oil, and the...weather! Its been a wet season in a lot of places, might wanna run a fan on drying mounts!
