I've been using WASCO water base paints for my deer head finishing. In my last order, the paint seemed different and the Black Umber was not the same as its been in the past. Can someone suggest a different kind of paint I could try, especially for finishing around the eyes and nose of blacktail deer. I appreciate the help. Thanks, Ken.

I also have recently ordered waterbased black umber polytranspar and the color is nowhere close to what I've received in the past. It's more of a chocolate brown than a black umber. I've had to add black to it for the desired shade. I'm stuck on Polytranspar paints and will not switch but I sincerely wish they would fix this problem.
