is it neccesary to use brown as a final coat on the inner ear for a competition mount? I understand this gives it a waxy apearance.The ears on my comp. mount look great with off white and flesh, I would hate to take a chance on messing them up if it is not neccesary. I will be entering in the profesional division. any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Shannon,if your ears look natural with the colors your using, just leave it at that and go to competition.
