I put together a whitetail mount using the flehming nose and mouth.
I would like to put a drip of drool runing out of his mouth or nose. what is the best material to make a clear looking drip?

you can use hot glue gun sticks and get a nice effect, but the glue sticks you get at a regular store usually dry creamy colored but still looks good. If you want the best result using hot glue you can buy the water-reproduction kind that taxidermy catalogs sell. They are used to make fake water and will dry clear and a little glossier.
Better still, buy his VHS tape and watch as he makes water splashes with artificial water. That's what I do and it gives it a very realistic appearance as a 'drool'.
