Bison Horn Mounting Question?

I am going to ount a bison Wed of this next week and want to ask how you attach the horn cores to the short stub on the manakin? Larry

If the horn cores are already on the form (Wood 2x2)I put a few sheetrock screws into the wood and leave them sticking out a little so that I get a good bond. Once I have the set I want I bondo the horn on. I have never had a problem with them coming off.

I use the 5" sheet rock screws too and also have never had a problem.

I like to fill the horn first, with 2 part foam, then carve out enough, so the sheet rock srews will fit, and then bondo as stated above.It gives more serface for the bondo to bite into.
