If someone could tell me, is a Red Stag and a Red Deer the same mammal. I am looking at forms from McKenzie and only find Red Deer forms. Any would be greatly appreciated.

Red deer have two sexes. They are hinds for females and stags for males. A red stag is simply a male red deer.
