Just curious can reproductions be made off of already made reproduction antlers without doing damage to the first set? I dont know if the stain would be removed or what?

Depends

Depends on how well the colouring agent was applied, how well (if) it was sealed, what the colouring agent is, what the molding material is, what the release agent is, what chemical you will use to remove that release agent etc.

Also - there is the possible legal factor of reproducing something already reproduced as someone may own the sole rights to the set.

Don't do it

Paul the Pirate, it is just like copying music that you didn't pay for. That what's not right about it.

Well Jay thanks for the compliment! If I knew anything about this reproduction stuff I would not have posted a questions like this now would I? All I was doing is looking for a little advice Isnt that what this place is about ? As for the molds The guy said he shipped them to me and apparently they got lost in the mail? I know its bogus but what do you do?

Like I said above

Yes you can do it - but there may be certain risks associated with the combinations of materials and the actual construction techniques employed. The only way to know for sure is to try it. As a general rule - if you use silicone and the colouring was applied well - you shouldn't have any problems. If the colouring DOES come off, just repaint them.

Hope that helps =)

Thank you

Sorry if jumped to fast. But there so many guys trying to pirate these replicas now days it ticks me off. I pay a lot of money for them and there are guys that laugh about it and try to belittle me because they brag about how much they save on second generation copy's. If they are legal for you to do I wish you luck
