After them few hours you can freeze it.
I leave it on. I salt, pickle, shave, pickle, neutralize, wash and drain, then apply the tan. I roll it up and let it sit for a bit, then freeze it until I get to mount it. At that time I tumble it, and maybe even shave it one more time. Hope that helps with your scheduling.
but if i have to wait less than 24 hours, i don't bother freezing it. I let it sit four hours at room temp(better absorbtion) than put skin side to skin side roll it up and put it in a bag and put it in the fridge. Remember i figure this is ok AFTER it has been thoroughly pickled. I don't wash it off.
I agree with Bill and follow the same steps except for the tumbling , I haven't used my tumbler in a long time , this is a personal perference and may not suit everyone . After tanning for 4 or 5 hours I wrap in large towels for a few minutes and then mount . For me this works well and eliminates the tumbling process
but didnt like the ideal of washing the tan out.Bill you havent had any problems with not washing tan out?I take it your using it just as you would liqua tan?
I dont wash them, theres no need. I just tumble them. You could just wrap a cape into a dry clean towel for awhile and get the same result. This stuff isnt gooey or greasy, it penetrates the skin right away.
