Hello. I am not a taxadermist, but I am interested in obtaining some information on mounting a dear (I beleive I looking at what is called a "European mount") I wonder if someone here knows where I can get some good directions on doing this sort of thing. Thank you very much for any help. (you can also contact me at drwho_66@yahoo.com)

Start by searching the archives here by clicking on the orange button to the left. The first stage of doing aeuropean mount is cleaning the skull. So type 'cleaning skull' or 'maceration' into the search and enjoy reading! =)

trying your local Taxidermist, this is what they do. Save a few bucks by doing it yourself and end up with a mediocre job or spend a few bucks and get a professional job done.

what does it take for you to remember me? LOL.

Headhanger I like your answer, afterall this is what we do for a living. A European mount is not going to break you bank account James, but it can help some taxidermist pay his bills.

well raven
