I use dry preservative on my whitetail deer. I want to keep as much hair inside the ears as possible, I try to accomplish this by salting. Does anyone know of a better way?

Why would you even think of salting when you're using DP. Those two are like water and oil. Why are you losing ear hair in the first place. are you turning the earbutts and splitting the ears? If you have a problem, salt isn't causing it and sure won't cure it. Never use salt with DP.
