Your fine as long as you didn't salt the hide, and your freezer works well. I've done this quite often when I get tried and need a break.
You know though that prior to the tanning the ears, eyes, lips and back of the ears need turned. I've never tried any of the paste type tans so I can't comment, I perfer using Basyn Tan D-L-E.Good Luck

It is not bad.

Alot of guys do this if they are busy or selling capes. I myself turn everything and salt. But you should be fine. I would make sure to thaw, turn everything and either salt or tan in Krowtan. I would not thaw, turn and refreeze.

I know I wrote about this in the past, and I am sure others did as well. If you use the orange search you will find it. Turn the ears inside out, separate the back ear skin from the internal ear cartilage. A Jonas ear separating tool works well for this. Split the lips, open up the lips like a book with a scalpel, the binding being the outside edge of the lips. Split the nostrils by dividing them with a cut right through the septum, and then by dividing the tissue surrounding each nasal pasage. Split the eyelids in the same manner and carefully cut to the eyelid removing the glands, leaving eyelid skin for tucking. Get a manual and/or some good videos, and (McKenzies) and you'll see what I'm saying. good luck
