I had a bad cape, and I thought I would use another cape from a dif. deer. The only thing is that the base of the horn are much smaller hole than the larger rack will this look odd or even be a possiblity?

So long as there is sufficient hide to reach between the two, and you don't mess with the ear position, enlarge the hole. That is, if the rest of the cape fits.
